[RxPG] Shimla, March 22 - A top Britain-based IT company has opened its first office outside the country here.
The Cheshire based Digital Vision's Shimla branch will initially have 55 staffers and would have invested at least 100,000 pounds by the time the office becomes fully operational later this year, said its CEO Dennis Wright.
'Digital Vision was founded six years ago and is a specialist solutions provider of OCR data capture, production scanning, workflow, content management and purchase to pay solutions,' Wright told IANS.
'The office in Shimla is Digital Vision's first branch outside the UK and will offer product development and technical support whilst developing its own client base within the region.'

The company that has an annual turnover of five million pounds grew by 40 percent last year. Its clients include IBM, Kofax, Oracle, Open Text, Contempus and the British military.
