[RxPG] Chennai, May 4 - Outsourcing major Cognizant Technology and Ordina, an IT services provider in Belgium and the Netherlands, Friday said they have entered into a seven-year outsourcing pact with Dutch financial services major Rabobank.
'Cognizant and Ordina will collaborate to deliver outsourced services as part of a seven-year arrangement with the Rabobank Group, encompassing application design, development and testing services,' the two companies said in a statement.
'As a key partner in this arrangement, Cognizant will manage the onsite/offshore delivery of services,' the statement added. The financial details of the deal, however, were not disclosed.
'Our decision-making hinges on continuity of employment and services. Many of our systems will be replaced over the next few years,' said Piet van Schijndel, member of the Rabobank Group's board of management.
'Dutch-based Ordina offers good services, as well as career perspectives for our employees. Cognizant has been one of our offshore service providers for some time now and has proved to deliver quality services,' he added.
