Ramco unveils new tech platform

Chennai, March 14 - Ramco Systems Wednesday announced a new technology platform for application development that enables fast, flexible deployment and change on demand of business applications.
The Ramco Business Process Delivery System - is a model-based application that is composed, not coded, using existing or newly created business assets with an adaptable and scalable IT infrastructure.
Ramco said this approach would help companies implement business processes quickly and effectively by modelling and managing them independently from the application architecture or infrastructure.
'Current software development approaches have failed to provide enterprises with sufficient flexibility and speed to respond and change to meet customer demands.
In order to be customer-centric, companies need systems to support the way their business works,' said Barbara Saxby, chief marketing officer for Ramco Systems.
'Ramco's Business Process Platform helps customers build better applications, so that when a business changes, the system changes, too. It has to be that simple,' she added.
