[RxPG] New Delhi, May 13 - Fun-filled games and mouth-watering food were part of 'The Big Feast', an event organised here as a prelude to Sahara One channel's reality show where obese participants are encouraged to shed their extra kilos.
The programme, held at the Ansal Plaza amphitheatre here Saturday, was meant to give audiences a personal experience of what the new show 'Biggest Loser Jeetega' will be about.
'The Big Feast' will also be conducted in Jaipur, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Lucknow and Ahmedabad. The winners from each city will get a chance to use the state-of-the-art gymnasium and advice from health and nutrition experts of the reality show in order to lose weight.
The event started with elimination rounds where 48 participants were divided into two teams, which played competitive games like sack race, tug-of-war, musical chairs and hand wrestling. The participants were cheered by a crowd of onlookers.
Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, who is set to host the programme, crowned the winner of the event Deepak Arora. He now gets the opportunity to live on the sets of 'Biggest Loser Jeetega' in Amby Valley City, near the hill station of Lonavla in Maharashtra.
