[RxPG] Kochi, April 19 - Songs from films released during Vishu make it to this list, with 'Thala' from 'Chotta Mumbai' topping the charts.
The top five Malyalam songs are:
1. 'Thala' - Film: 'Chotta Mumbai'; Music Director: Rahul Raj; Lyrics: Sarath Varma; Singers: Sankar Mahadevan, Arjun Sasi, Sangeeth and Rahul Raj. This is a song full of zest from a fun-filled film.
2. 'Kaiyetha' - Film: 'Vinodayathra'; Music Director: Ilayaraja; Lyrics: Sarath Varma; Singer: Manjari. We get soulful music whenever director Sathyan Anthikkad and maestro Ilayaraja team up, and this song continues the trend.
3. 'Sankathinu' - Film: 'Panthayakozhi'; Music Director: Alex Paul; Lyrics: Sarath Varma; Singers: Vineeth Sreenivasan and Ramesh Babu. This is a philosophical, but 'danceable' song.
