[RxPG] Ranchi, April 20 - When a eunuch 'married' a man in Jharkhand, many eunuchs from all over the country came to attend the nuptial celebrations while the groom's father accepted the match sportingly.
Eunuchs from Kolkata, Bangalore, New Delhi and other cities turned up to attend eunuch Khusi's marriage in Jadogoda district, near Jamshedpur, along with hundreds of other people, media reports said here Friday.
'We met last year in Jamshedpur and fell in love with each other. On Thursday we got married and now we are a married couple,' said Khusi.
'Husband' Dilip, whose father is an employee of Tata Steel, said: 'Love means marriage and we decided to go for it without considering what society will think about us. We also chose a safe venue for the marriage to prevent any untoward incident during the function.'
A grand feast was organised to celebrate the unusual marriage. Guest eunuchs danced and blessed the couple.
