[RxPG] New Delhi, May 8 - The Lok Sabha was adjourned for a second time Tuesday as Samajwadi Party, Left and Congress MPS continued to insist on a discussion on the fake killings in Gujarat - a request that was disallowed amid bedlam.
After the house met for the day, Ramjilal Suman of the Samajwadi Party sought the speaker's permission to speak on the killings of a Muslim and his wife in cold blood by the police in the Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled state.
Mohammed Salim of the Communist Party of India-Marxist and Madhusudan Mistry of the Congress backed the demand.
When Speaker Somnath Chatterjee disallowed the MPs and insisted on taking up question hour, the Samajwadi Party MPS ran towards his chair. Unable to control the chaos, the speaker adjourned the house till 12 noon.
But when the house met again, proceedings were again disrupted over the same issue, forcing the speaker to adjourn the house till 2 p.m.
The proceedings of both the houses - the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha - were disrupted continuously over the same issue Monday too.
