She was first taken to the Sri Ram Nursing Home in Kankarbagh, Patna. However, when her condition worsened, the doctors there advised that she should be taken to Delhi to be treated by lungs specialists.

[RxPG] Patna, May 15 - Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's wife Manju Sinha was cremated at the Pahalwan Ghat on the banks of the river Ganga here Tuesday afternoon.
Hundreds of people including politicians and top government officials participated in her funeral procession from the chief minister's official residence at 1 Anne Marg. Her only son Nishant lit the pyre.
Manju Sinha, 55, passed away in a Delhi hospital Monday due to severe pneumonia. Her body was flown to Patna in a special aircraft, accompanied by Nitish Kumar, Nishant and Janta Dal-United - president Sharad Yadav.
She had been suffering from lung problems and severe pneumonia for the past two weeks and succumbed to her illness at the Max Super Specialty hospital in Saket in south Delhi.
