[RxPG] Chandigarh, May 1 - Haryana police have issued a search notice for a Delhi resident after they busted an inter-state cricket betting racket operating in Gurgaon and Delhi.
The main accused Bobby Gujral of Delhi's upscale Malcha Marg area is absconding and the state police have alerted immigration check posts countrywide to prevent him from fleeing abroad.
A police spokesman said here Tuesday that 139 mobile numbers have been identified that were being used in the betting racket.
Police busted the racket last week as betting was taking place during the two semi-finals of the cricket World Cup played in the West Indies.
Gujral - with mobile number 9811779000 - was in constant touch with others during the matches. All the 139 mobile numbers had been purchased on fake identities.
The mobile numbers were being operated in Delhi, Mumbai, Rajasthan, Punjab and some other states.
Cases have been registered against Gujral and others under the gambling and other acts.
The police spokesman said that all concerned mobile companies have been asked to disconnect the identified mobiles and provide details of those using them.
